Hi, I’m Charis Martin-Ross.
I work with senior professionals navigating change, complexity and transitions in demanding, high-performing organisations.
Balanced Alliance is my private practice, offering bespoke coaching grounded in evidence-based psychology, systems thinking, and real-world organisational experience.
About
Balanced Alliance is the private practice of Charis Martin-Ross, a psychologist and systems-trained coach.
Charis brings a rare blend of deep psychological training and commercial understanding. As a registered psychologist, she brings an evidence-based, psychologically rigorous approach to her work, alongside more than two decades spent inside large, complex organisations. Over that time, she has assessed, given feedback, and coached hundreds of leaders globally.
Her professional background includes senior roles in global institutions such as Macquarie Group, Allianz, and HSBC, shaping a style that is both commercially grounded and attuned to how people operate within real-world systems.
Charis’s approach is evidence-based and solution-focused, and her style is thoughtful, structured, and relational. She is particularly drawn to moments of movement and change - creating space to reflect, build confidence and shape their identity as clients navigate transitions.
Balanced Alliance is intentionally small and bespoke. Charis works with a limited number of clients alongside her broader professional commitments.
Charis allocates a portion of her coaching practice to pro bono work.
